What to budget for separately

Flights and accommodation. Price these for your departure city and travel dates. Plan around 4-6 days for the initial appointments; this is not a promise that every document will be issued that week. Confirm any further visits before you book.

Document preparation. You obtain the original documents and arrange the required legalisation. Translation costs depend on your documents and are confirmed after review. Interpretation at appointments is included.

Later costs. Ask for an itemised breakdown of accounting, address services, company filings and the later permanent-residency stage. The initial package fee should not be treated as a lifetime cost.

The included lease is not a hotel booking. Ask us to explain the property arrangement, permitted use and renewal charge before you commit.

Official immigration fees in 2026

Migraciones’ schedule effective 1 July 2026 lists the ordinary temporary-residence application, including precaria, at PYG 2,926,925 when paid in cash. The permanent-residence fee, including a category change, is also PYG 2,926,925. These are separate application stages. Card payments have different totals. Check the official fee schedule.

These government charges are not an alternative quote for the full NTH service. Ask which fees your written proposal includes before adding them to the US$5,950 package total, so you do not count them twice. Keep government charges in guaraníes until you obtain the exchange rate for your actual payment date.

For a DIY budget, also price document issuance, authentication, translations, local document costs, travel and any assistance you choose. Do not compare the government’s application fee alone with a coordinated service covering several parts of the setup.

Keep these costs in one currency when comparing options. There is no single all-in figure that fits every departure country, document set and itinerary.

Comparing Paraguay with another setup

Compare the same items on both sides: setup fees, travel, required time in-country, company costs, accounting and renewals. A residency fee alone does not show the total cost of a tax setup.
